Berhenti Kerja ? haruskah ?
Dohhh, sudah mulai menjemukan, pengen rasanya berhenti kerja dari tempat yang sekarang!!! Berawal dari tidak jelasnya status gw disini … sebagai employee atau outsourcing, atau freelance… ? where did i stand ? inside or outside, right now i’m standing in the middle of nowhere.
Awal dari gw ‘bekerja’ disini karena mereka meminta tolong buatin program PHP based for Project Management. well it’s turned out the project completely failure.. why ?
- I’m losing the big picture.
- Lack of Knowledge,
- Misunderstanding
When i first came here, gw tau apa yang harus gw lakuin. Tiap kali coding perasaan kurang ini kurang itu, tambah fitur A , B , C. Sampe akhirnya gw bener - bener kesasar… gw gak tau gw dimana , gw gak tau harus ngapain, dan bahkan gw sampai di titik gw gak tau apa yang gw tulis. that was my biggest mistakes.
I understand an various programming technique and method rite after i realize that i was lost. Now i understand what people talked about : code reuse, encapsulation, DRY Principles ( Dont Repeat Yourself ) and even i’ve finally tried the Test Driven Development.
What they asked is some sort of OLAP not OLTP - since the program will be report generator, still the raw data only available on Excel format. The mistakes i made that i tried to normalize the data i had, in OLAP the tables uses denormalization method to accelerate report creation not normalization.
Sekarang saat project itu dah gak jelas… begitu juga gw, Kantor akhirnya memutuskan untuk memakai project management mereka yang lama. Yang IMHO kurang bagus , dan masih banyak redundasi data… but it’s useful for them, and the surprising thing is. , mereka pake Java ® and Oracle ™ …dua software yang gw kira dilarang disini, karena mereka kerjasama M$, dan hanya mengijinkan semuanya dibuat dengan produk mereka ( BACA : ASP and SQL Server / Access ), i’ve managed to use PHP coz i’m using a third party hosting and luckily they didn’t found out bout that.
Dan gw?? gw luntang lanting disini… without anything to be done… only helping some friends.. doing some report using Excel, mungkin dah saat nya gw keluar dari gua yang gw anggap mapan ini. buat ngejar resolusi - resolusi gw… btw ada yang punya kerjaan ?
